Nearly 23,000 lives improved in 25 years! With a staff of 24 employees and over 200 regular volunteers, it’s hard to imagine that Bethany House Services began as the dream of three women who wanted to offer shelter and hospitality to homeless women. Led by co-foundress and Executive Director, Sister of Mercy, Mary Stanton, the agency is recognized for its creativity, compassion and collaboration. BHS works with the community to provide a full range of housing, education and assistance programs to homeless and disadvantaged women and children. "The energy in this organization is contagious," says Tom Leugers, Board Member "People get involved and stay involved".

BHS spends $.80 out of every dollar donated on direct services to the families.
