2010 Mardi Gras to Benefit Homeless Children
was hosted by the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association in Cooperation with the Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Association.

On Tuesday, February 16th Bethany House Services, Brighton Center's Homeward Bound, Mercy Franciscan at St. John, and Welcome House of Northern Kentucky celebrated the 19th Annual Mardi Gras to Feed Homeless Children. The event took place at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Check back for pictures and information on how we did.

Last year our goal was to sell 2,000 tickets and we made it. The event sold out!! 40 Restaurants participated and 15 beverage purveyors were there to break the record number of booths.

There was an awesome parade with celebrities throwing beads and t-shirts, stilt- walkers, live New Orleans jazz, live and silent auction, clowns, face painting, Elvis, and much--much more.

This event raised more than $86,000 in 2008 to help feed homeless children. Bethany House Services received a check for $ 27,976 from the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association and $2,500 from the Marge Schott Foundation.

For more information or to purchase tickets or a table for this years event call Laura at 513-921-1131, ext. 123 or email her at lborsky@bhsinc.org. BHS will receive $36 out of each $55 ticket sold by the agency. Please help us to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
