Kick Off for Bethany House Services Field Trips
Bethany House Services in collaboration
with others
provides a full range of housing, education and
assistance to homeless
and disadvantaged women
and children.
This year children at Bethany House Services
Emergency Shelter will be taking several field trips.
With the rising costs of admission
and transportation
we have had to cut back on field trips and are having
"Family
Fun Days" at the emergency shelter.
On June 10 the families left to travel to COSI; 18 Adults, 25 children over the age
of 2, and 6 children under the age of 2. For most of them this was a first time experience.
For most of these families field trips and the Children’s Carnival on Wednesday,
July 8th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. will be the highlight of their summer.
Here
is a perfect opportunity for all of us to make a difference in the life of a child.
You can join Bethany House Services and AAA of Cincinnati, The Charles H. Dater Foundation,
Kings Island, The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, The Manuel D. & Rhoda Mayerson Foundation,
The Carroll Foundation and others in helping to give these families an experience
of a lifetime. If you would like to become involved with BHS Children's programming
