Lighting candles is a sacred action in many spiritual traditions. Light symbolizes many different things to each of us and candles—the purest, most simple light—can radiate more than we can ever know. We use candles, especially at times of celebration, during ceremonies and rituals, and of course, during the holiday season.

Here at Bethany House Services, we keep a candle light in the window yearlong as a beacon for all the homeless women and children who find themselves at our doorstep.

Give the GIFT OF LIGHT to help us reach out and provide compassion, promise and the reality of a brighter future for homeless and disadvantaged women and families. Housing, education and assistance programs focus on holistic empowerment and family stabilization.

Lights will shine from our GIFT OF LIGHT WINDOWS program in honor or remembrance of those you love, as a birthday or holiday gift, for family or group projects, or for gifts that are random acts of kindness.
