More Than An Eagle Scout Requirement
As part of his Eagle Scout requirements, Gram Pearman, a Wyoming High School junior, raised $1,095 through a GoFundMe campaign to purchase toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental floss. With the help of family and friends, he then assembled 600 oral hygiene kits for Bethany House residents, delivering all the kits in the beginning of January.
For Gram, this was more than a task required to meet a goal; it was a passion. Through this work, Gram wanted to learn more about homelessness and poverty. His kindness and generosity were a great benefit to our families in shelter.
Bethany House congratulates Gram on his Eagle Scout badge and is certain he will fly high!
