A Pathway Home: Sponsor a Move

Each year, roughly 250 families move out of Bethany House’s emergency shelter and into their own homes. It costs an average of $5,000 per family—first month’s rent, last month’s rent, security deposit, utility arrears, household supplies, and more.

You can help ensure families move out of shelter as quickly as possible and start their Pathway Home. 

How It Works

Everyone who makes a donation to A Pathway Home, will be matched with a family to ensure all move-out costs are covered. This program has two levels of participation:

1. Partial Sponsorship ($2,500): With a $2,500 donation, sponsors will receive an email within a week of their donation that provides information about the family they are helping.

2. Full Sponsorship ($5,000): With a $5,000 donation, sponsors receive the same initial email as partial sponsors, as well as two update emails about the family approximately three months and nine months after the family has moved out of Bethany House.
