Holiday Programs – Bethany House Services

The 2025 holiday programs will open on November 3.

If you are looking to Adopt A Family in one of our housing programs, contribute to the Winter Wonderland gift drive and holiday party for families living in shelter, or provide Bethany Basics supplies—you are in the right place! Please check back on Monday, November 3rd.

Adopt a Family

Adopt a Family is Bethany House’s most well-known holiday program. This program is for families who are in one of our housing programs. As a sponsor, you “adopt” a family (or families) and provide presents from the wish list that we send you so that your adopted family can enjoy a joyful holiday.

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is a toy and gift drive for the families currently residing in shelter. Your donations of unwrapped gifts are displayed in a room away from the children where parents can “shop” in secret, selecting just the right gifts for their kids. You can also buy gifts for mom and dad! Older children are able to “shop” for their parents. Volunteers help wrap the gifts so that they are ready to be delivered on Christmas morning.

Bethany Basics

When a family leaves shelter, they receive Bethany Basics. This bundle contains items that families need to establish their new homes, such as bedding, bathroom supplies, kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and more! Consider adding a Bethany Basic to your gift list.

Sign up to Participate — Beginning November 3

The Sign Up Genius link will go live on Monday, November 3 at 9 am. There, you can choose which initiative you’d like to support. You will also find instructions for each program, wish lists, and drop off information. Once you sign up, you will be assigned a Coordinator from Bethany House who will contact you. If you are adopting a family, your coordinator will provide you with the wish list for your specific family.
