Heather Luker-Smith
Family Services Director
As Family Services Director for Bethany House Services, Heather oversees the Kids Zone, Education Coordination, Life Skills Program, and kitchen operations.
With over 25 years of experience in social services, Heather’s career spans from direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities to leadership roles across the community sector. She has also served as an OPOTA police instructor at the University of Cincinnati, specializing in crisis management and victim advocacy.
Heather holds degrees in Anthropology and Sociology from Miami University. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, gardening, and exploring flea markets with her husband.
