 34 Years of Mardi Gras

If you haven’t been to our annual Mardi Gras Benefitting Homeless Children, you are missing quite the event!

Hosted by the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association, this party features all the hallmarks you would expect from Mardi Gras: Beads, clowns, a parade, king cake, live music, and food and beverage from 54 local restaurants and drink purveyors.

The event raised over $200,000 which will help shelter, feed, and stabilize families experiencing homelessness in our community—including those at Bethany House.

A special thanks to the following for ensuring a successful event:

  • All Bethany House sponsors
  • All the donors who contributed items for the silent and live auctions, with special shoutouts to Sylvia Osterday and Kevin Kappa
  • The Junior League of Cincinnati for providing the space for silent auction basket building.
  • Volunteers who built baskets, helped with set-up and ensured that the event ran smoothly.
