Volunteer groups have a wide range of opportunities including the following:
Sponsor a Meal
Bethany House serves three meals a day, 365 days a year, so we always need help in the kitchen!
Your group can cook offsite and bring your food in to serve, cook and serve onsite, or simply show up to help serve and make a financial donation to offset the food price.
While we only allow five volunteers in the kitchen at a time, the rest of the group can be serving/cleaning in the cafeteria and facilitating activities for children.

Host a Drive
Bethany House relies on donations of households supplies, snacks, hygiene products, and more to make sure our families have what they need for success. Your group can organize an offsite donation drive and volunteer without even leaving your office/church/community!

Kidz Zone
Bethany House has extensive children’s programs through “Kidz Zone” and sometimes can host groups who are able to lead activities for kids. Most programming is in the evenings, Monday through Thursday.
Donation Organizing
Thousands of items are donated for Bethany House families each year, and we routinely need help organizing and inventorying these donations. This job can sometimes involve lifting, carrying, or other physical labor.
Cleaning
Large groups are especially helpful for deep cleaning Bethany House’s shelter and offices. We will provide all the cleaning supplies you need.
Special Events
There are multiple events throughout the year that require volunteer support. Groups are especially helpful with setting up before and cleaning up after events.
