Success Story: From Hopeless to Housed
For over a month, Tifani and her three children had no home to call their own. Living out of her vehicle in the cold, Tifani struggled to keep her family safe while trying to make ends meet.
Feeling hopeless, Tifani found Bethany House, and new hope bloomed. Over the course of 168 days, the family found not just shelter, but also support and stability.
With the help of her case manager, Tifani applied for public benefits through Job and Family Services. Bethany House provided gas cards to ease her commute to work. And her children were provided with clothing and lots of educational, emotional, and developmental support through Bethany House’s Family Services Department.
Tifani, a dedicated private nurse’s aide, is thrilled to finally have stability for her children and a place to call their own.
After months of uncertainty and struggle, her family is stepping into a new chapter—one filled with hope, security, and the warmth of a home in the downtown area.
Reflecting on their journey, Tifani shares a simple, powerful message: “Don’t ever give up.”
