Bethany House Announces Plans to Provide On-Site Child Care

Families staying at Bethany House will soon have access to on-site child care which will enable parents to leave the shelter and further build stability while their children are cared for in the same facility.

Bethany House partnered with SIMPY’s Playhouse and Learning Center who will operate the center. Enrollment will prioritize families in emergency shelter, followed by families in housing programs facing barriers to stability, Bethany House staff, and then the broader community. At full capacity, the program is expected to serve approximately 65 children, offering a stable and enriching environment for young learners.

This program is part of Bethany House Services’ ongoing efforts to enhance services which ultimately removes barriers and increases impact for families served.

The new on-site child care program will be open in the fall.
