In-Kind Donations and Drives

Bethany House is always in need of items for families living in shelter. Below are the most consistently needed items. Bethany House accepts only NEW items; no used items will be accepted under any circumstances.

Bethany Basics – When a family leaves shelter, they receive a bundle of Bethany Basics which includes items that families need to establish their new homes, such as bedding, bathroom supplies, kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and more. See the full list here.

Hygiene Items – Often families come to shelter with very few possessions. Hygiene items are in high demand and very appreciated, particularly products for Black skin and hair. See the full list here.

Snacks – Along with three hot meals a day, Bethany House provides snacks. Children are often hungry after school or before bed. Healthy snacks are vital to healthy, happy kids and families. Donations must be nonperishable, non-expired, and undamaged. See the full list here.

Clothing – Only the following new clothing items will be accepted: socks, underwear, bras, winter gloves and hats, coats & jackets, pajamas, short- and long-sleeved t-shirts, shorts, leggings/athletic pants/sweatpants, athletic jackets/sweatshirts, and casual shoes/slippers/sandals.

Baby Items – Items include diapers, formula, car seats, strollers, and more.

from 8AM-10PM, Monday through Friday.
Bring your donations to the Welcome Center just inside the front door.
